It’s time for a National Care Service

On Tuesday I challenged the Minister for Social Care on our broken care system highlighting the lack of funding, low pay, lack of training and in particular the practice of payment by the minute and not paying for travel time of care workers. We need to fix the care system. I believe it’s time for a National Care Service.
