The rise in hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ community.

Last week I spoke at a Westminster Hall debate on the rise in hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ community.


Figures for West Yorkshire released in June 2022 showed a 39.9% increase in transphobic incidents in that year. It does not have to be this way.
